The Mame footstool is the matching sidekick to Luca Nichetto’s Mame armchair. Named for the soft curves of the edamame bean, it mirrors the inviting form of its counterpart.
It is designed with an understated metal frame and deep, supportive cushioning that effortlessly takes the weight off your feet. Nimble and lightweight, it is easily to move around the room or even stand in as an additional seat for social gatherings. Designed with Luca Nichetto.

Our Own Factory
Our Mame furniture go through a rigorous period of prototype testing before they’re handmade to order in our factory in Gdansk, Poland. Working with both designers and the skilled artisans in our factory, the furniture are fine-tuned to combine uncompromising comfort with a visual integrity. Wood is produced in our on-site sawmill, while the feathers, down and leathers in our upholstery are repurposed bi-products from other industries.

For me, sustainability is about appreciating quality and the look and feel of well-thought-through design and high-quality materials. When consumers prioritize quality, we can get away from the throwaway mentality, which is better from an environmental perspective as people tend to think twice before getting rid of something of high quality.
