Cube Vase large
Cube is shaped in the moment where molten glass settles, its surface marked by subtle vibrations and shifting colour, making each vase quietly distinct.
About
Glass holds a moment. Not fixed, but slowed down. Cube is shaped in that moment, where molten glass meets the mould and begins to settle. Its form is simple, almost geometric, yet never entirely still. Designed by Carina Seth Andersson and made by hand at Skruf Glassworks in Småland, Sweden, each vase carries the marks of its making. As the glass is poured, subtle vibrations form a soft relief across the surface, reminiscent of rings on water. The colours gather and shift within the material, creating depth rather than uniformity.

The designer / Carina Seth Andersson
Carina Seth Andersson is one of Sweden’s most respected contemporary designers, known for her refined and quietly expressive work in glass, ceramic and everyday objects. Educated at Konstfack in Stockholm and the Royal College of Art in London, she has developed a practice where clarity of form and material sensitivity are central. Her work often begins with simple geometries — cylinders, cones, cubes — which she subtly adjusts the proportion, thickness and surface of to create presence without excess.
